The object
Glaze returns the frameless lens to its most glamorous Y2K proportion: one wide rectangular shield with softly squared corners, smoked from charcoal at the brow to amber below, held by almost nothing. There is no rim and no brow bar. A minimal polished-gunmetal bridge and two knife-edge temples do the work, ending in black acetate tips. The fit stays low and close to the brow so the eye remains visible through the gradient. Inside the wearer's-left temple tip, one exact circular two-slab A is blind-embossed from approved artwork. No twin marks, no decoration on the lens, no invented hardware. Smoke-to-amber is permanent; pale smoke-to-ice is the color edition.
