The object
Cladding is the moment when matching red leather stopped being excessive and became the point. Supple scarlet lambskin is cut into a cropped square-neck top with concealed sculpted cups and firm side support, paired with a pant that begins across the hip bones, stays close through the thigh and opens into a long bootcut line. The leather remains matte enough to show real grain, seam tension and wear; nothing reads as latex or stage vinyl. Hardware is reduced to the two closures the set requires. At the wearer's-left rear waistband, one exact circular two-slab A is blind-embossed from approved artwork. Scarlet is the first edition; black follows. Two pieces, one surface, no apology.
